Well okay, 4-cylinder. To my young, untrained ears, everything was V*. :smile:
I got a replacement vehicle for the one that was totaled 10 days ago, 2010 Honda Accord with 35000 miles on it.

If you like Accords so much I have a 1992 for sale with only 200,000 miles on it.:smile:
When my car was totalled in 2011, the 2005 Accord that I was driving had a bit over 150,000 on it. I was thinking that I was going to drive it to at least 300,000. Because of the tsunami, there was a dearth of new models available. The 2012's had not yet arrived, the 2011's were sold out. The dealership had 1 2010 on the lot that someone had purchased and had the financing fall through shortly after that. It had ,177. miles on it. It now has almost 33,000 on it. I have a relative that has a 2010 as well.:banana:

If you start having problems with the remote (failing to lock and unlock), that is a known issue. You are over the 32k limit for a free repair, but you might be able to sweet talk the dealership.

Meh, my gpu will do better there .... (~180 GHZ/days a day for my lone single low-to-med-end gpu) :smile: Unless you need CPU not GPU power?
Unless you need CPU not GPU power?
I take what every folks have available. But, I do try to drum up help. I have about 20 GHz-days at my personal disposal.

After a day of work (namely 13 hours), I got rid of Windows 8 from my new Compaq and installed Ubuntu.

UEFI is evil! :max::bangheadonwall::rant::furious::censored::lock::raman:

BIOS UEFI or Windows 8 UEFI? I am assuming the latter? :max:

And yes, windows 8 in general is a piece of crap.

I wrote a (pretty lame) statement for my wife to read at her red-light camera court hearing ("bla-bla-bla, always been a good driver, bla-bla-bla, only 0.58 seconds late, bla-bla-bla, yellow light duration was too short, bla-bla-bla, respectfully plead to a lesser violation, :mally:"), and strangely, - it worked. The fee was reduced from $535 to $300 and it will not go on driving record (I made her go thru the traffic school).

Better than a sharp stick in the eye, that.

Of course, altogether, it was a pretty happy day at the court -- A whole bunch of people got other, non-camera charges dismissed (officers didn't show up, that's what a 12/27 date is probably good for - officers take some time off... otherwise they almost always show up. Beats a day on the road, doesn't it?)

my first 100 DC month

I completed more than 100 DCs in December.
Also Dec 31 was also my second 10 DC day.

PS it is also my last for the foreseeable future.
2013 will be the year I go for top 100 LL lifetime.
