No idea what really was, if viral or not. They gave me Cravit, one of the strongest antibiotics that you can get locally (and of which I never heard before). And it somehow worked, meaning that the doctors knew what they are doing. Beside, they gave me Zyrtec and some other things, but I assume they were for salt and pepper only, the heavy artillery was the Cravit. Still have to take it for 3 days (Sunday inclusive).

I got a replacement vehicle for the one that was totaled 10 days ago, 2010 Honda Accord with 35000 miles on it. Very nice car! My wife and I will be fighting over who gets to drive it.

It's nice to know that Accords can make the long haul. Ours is a 2000 model with almost 100,000 miles. I would love to see it make 200K. :cool:

My wife had a 1992 Accord, but I was too tall to drive it (although she uses the excuse that I didn't want to drive a stick :smile:), so when we bought our van in 2004, we sold that car to a co-worker instead of my Mazda 626. AFAIK, he was still driving it four years ago when he moved to Atlanta.

The one that was totaled ha 125,000 miles on it. It was solid. I never had any major maintenance issues, just the normal maintenance that needed to be done. I had intended to give that car to the kids for them to share in a few years when they start driving. Now I need to come up with a Plan B because I won't be giving this car to them.

My mom/opa had an old green 1993 Ford Escort that between the two of them, had 250,000 miles by the time it was traded in (it only had a 5 digit odometer, so my opa lied and said it only had flipped once). For the last few years the air conditioning never worked, but my opa took it from Illinois to South Carolina and back more then once, i.e. through the mountains packed with moving stuff on a tiny little V4. That was a sturdy car. :smile:

Well, it seems they exchanged it for a GTX 560 without my noticing until I started Msieve last night. I guess that makes it better (but it still was just a stupid fan).
