Our P-1 and ECM/ECMF quest produced some fruits at least... Inadvertently, trying to get into Lifetime Top100, we reached Yearly Top60... Good... Now we can turn our attention to First Time LL, but not before paying some debts (which fortunately may also raise our DC credits)... |

40,000 GHz-days (or 40 THz-days) lifetime. :maybeso:
~10% TF ~7.5% P-1 ~81% LL ~1.5% DC Curtisc can produce this amount of work in ~9.3 days!! I, on the other hand, have been plugging along with GIMPS since February 2002. I have completed 82,340 total assignments (across all work types), each of which on average was worth 0.4868 GHz-days. Four more P-1's will get me to 700 total, and 27 more LLs will get me to the big 500. |
Anyone else giving blood?
I received an e-mail from the Red Cross. Blood supplies are critically low. Worst in about 20 years. Please go and give NOW. If you are A+, B+, or AB+ please consider giving platelets. Platelets have a very short hold time of 3 days and are needed for cancer patients, babies, some under going surgery and those with clotting problems. |

Does it have to be directly to the Red Cross, or can it be to local blood bank or some other place? |

I wish I could contribute, but hepatitis C antibodies render my blood unacceptable. |
