As someone who lives in Arkansas, I've come up with the theory that the more teeth you have in your mouth, the more likely you are to wear a helmet. Also, I think Conway is the Arkansas city with the best toothed people, mainly because of all the tech jobs offered here at places like Acxiom.

My family can't donate because of mad cow disease in Europe. I myself can't donate because of psychiatric med use, so it's a double whammy.

500 P-1 tests (34 successes = 6.8%) lifetime, 252 of which have been in the past year. That's just over 5 1/2 GHz-years devoted to P-1. I believe that P-1 is now completed (with a decent B1 and B2!) on everything between 60M and 60.01M.

I also just recently crossed over 51,000 TF results lifetime, with 21,365 in the past year.

282 P-1 assignments - I will take these exponents out as I go, but the goal is to finish 282 P-1 assignments at the 60M threshold or better. I've got a couple of machines with 3 GB of RAM in mind for this...

28,282 TF assignments - Between 9/2/10 and 9/2/11, the goal is to complete a total of 28,282 TF assignments, whether they are mainstream assignments or LMH quickies (obviously, there will be more of the latter than the former). Note that this is an average of 77-78 TFs a day. I've turned in 20,000 or so this year without really trying. So this should be doable...

And, yes, the 28 theme has to do with the fact that I'm turning 28 this year. Looking forward to another year crunching with GIMPS, and here's hoping we hit M48!![/QUOTE]

How did you do on last year's projects?

Obviously, this year's theme should be 29..29 cores, 29 tests for Operation Billion Digits, 29,292 TFs, etc.

You'll need some good CUDA cards to do this..... :smile:
