Just passed 10.000 hrs/day. We have now worked for more than 7 years starting with one slow computer at my previous work. Now I have started my own company and all comuters are runnning 24/7 on this. With the prices we have here in DK for electricity it is insane - but makes fun...

That's a lot of running! If I had to commute to work on foot, I know that
I would be very tired......

..and it is very confusing and dangerous with computers running around in the lab. You have to be careful

Indeed. The commuting becomes particularly difficult if one is working
with quaternions.

At least you are not working with C* algebras; You would alienate most
of your associates.

... where to begin?

My internet connection has been (at least partially) restored after the Dec. 26 earthquake in East Asia.

I installed Prime95 on my sister's new desktop, which has a Core 2 Duo T7400. Despite it not being on 24 hours a day, it should be quite a powerful workhorse.

I crossed the 400 CPU years mark.

I passed 3100 P90 CPU hours per day for the first time ever.

[/CODE]

And I did it all in time for the new year!

I forgot to say: The exponent that pushed me over the 400 CPU years mark was the largest exponent I have ever LL tested.

... boosting me 18 ranks up to #679 in the Jan. 1, 2007 overall GIMPS (not Primenet) rankings.
