What exactly is meant by the end date?

I'm trying to test some WR PRP's and I assume that P-1 stage one is the first stage before P-1 stage 2, then LL testing which is the longest, but I may be wrong. Prime95 states that I should get the results of my testing on the 25th of March but I am unsure if thats talking about P-1 stage one or whether M1XXXXXXX is prime or not. :/

What is meant by the end date?

Sorry if this is a longwinded question, just wanted some stuff cleared up.

A couple of things. If the projected completion is March 25, that is for the whole test. Second if you selected WR PRP, it won't do an LL test, it will do a PRP. The reason that we are making the switch is that a PRP can be done in essentially the same time as an LL and with fewer uncorrected errors. So overall it is faster. It can't prove the number prime, but there is a very low likelihood of a false positive. Stage 1 P-1 does come before Stage 2 (it has to). It does not 'feed into' the PRP (it is a completely different sort of test.)

Ok gotcha.

Yikes it spiked to 21 Sept after completing P-1 stage one and is now doing Gerbicz error checking. This is on all four of the current workers. Is this normal?

What is the specs of your CPU? How many workers are you running? What is the per iteration times of each of your tests? How many hours per day are you running the program?

I'm using a 3900x with 4 worker windows with 3 cores assigned to each. But Prime95 keeps allocating 8 cores to each worker now. I can't change it and it seems that the its the software not the keyboard giving the number 8.

I think its about 0.212 and I'm running it on and off around 6 hours a day inconsistently.

Help?

neatherback 2020-03-02 12:41

Mike, sorry but that didn't seem to work, still shows 8 on the window and doesn't allow me to change.

Post your local.txt and prime.txt files here for us to look at.
