Hardly any non-server memory is above "stock" 2133. Anything above it usually implies XMP. Btw, my 7940X (ES) will do 3466 with a full load of 8 x 16GB. |

[/QUOTE] dmidecode may be reading the "standard" 2133 timing set from the DDR4 SPD, instead of the XMP 2.0 2666 timing set. I suspect your memory is already running at 2666 so this may be just a reporting error, assuming XMP 2.0 profile has been enabled in BIOS. |

Quad channel DDR3 is certainly sized for AVX1 processors, I think my Xeon Ivy Bridge is limited by the absence of AVX2 and FMA3 instructions AND quad channel DDR4, George did a great job on these instructions. |
