Try yoyo (at) mailueberfall.de It's how I make contact. Paul |
I think (2^x + 2^y + 1) is not used anyhow. The fast reduction is only for 2^n±1, isn't it? So I think RDS's question is well put.
OK!
But I still don't know who he is...…...
That is a profoundly deep philosophical observation. Do I know who you are, even though I have several names for you which include "R.D. Silverman" and a bunch which contain the '@' character in them? I've also met someone claiming to be you and, admittedly, the supporting evidence seemed quite convincing at the time but how do I know it wasn't an imposter who had done his background research properly? To me, yoyo is a name for an entity which passes a Turing test and gives me useful information. That's all I ask. |

I received a reply to my query to YoYo. The answer is no. Base 2 optimizations are not turned on. This is certainly a missed opportunity. |
To me, yoyo is a name for an entity which passes a Turing test and gives me useful information. That's all I ask.
The same applies to xilman. Only one entity on this forum have I had any contact with other than written text based or postal sending of atoms.

If you would like to visit La Palma or Cambridge (depending where I am at the time) I will make you very welcome. I'll even provide free accommodation but transport is your problem. If you want either of my snail-mail addresses you only have to PM me. It is with great regret that the relatively recent policies of the US gummint has made it extremely unlikely that I will visit you in person. |
I can cover transport to Cambridge, love the city but hate the office there.
