Every day for the last few week I try to get P-100s for 2 Colab P-1 sessions.
I can't speak for V-100 P-1 times as I've never seen one yet. But I have to try over and over until I get a P-100 for each session as they are 5-10 times faster than anything else I've been given so far including T4. P4 and K80. On average I have been requiring 5-20 retries per night. Percentage-wise I estimate: T4: 95% P4: 1% K80: 1% P100: 3% V100: 0% so far out of a few hundred tries.
Probably just timing and availability. Most of the time I look for T4s... several days ago I literally only got P100s and K80... after a while I just gave up. Next day I got all T4s with no retries... |

Now; 90 minutes ago and 180 minutes ago ... 35 consecutive attempts and all T4's. Some day I might determine what time of day is best for each type. |
and all T4's...
The same for me since 2 hours, only Tesla T4's available, despite 20 attempts .You don't have to worry about it

75 tries over 6 hours and I finally got my 2 P-100's

Lucky you (all) ! :envy: (edit: huh? no green face?)
I didn't see a GPU at all for a while. I may have upset them with something... SWMBO laptop still gets T4s regularly (she is google certified educator, and the laptop uses her "legal" account, maybe this matters?) but they only last 3 hours every time, sometimes less, and I only have access to it two times per day when at home, so the rest of the time is somehow lost. We are negotiating to install anydesk or something, but we met some resistance :richd: |

6 hours? I'm not so sure its worth the wait, lol. |

Try 10 or 15 times; wait an hour ... rinse/repeat. Most days I get the P100 within half a dozen attempts. I seem to have more luck in the evening. With the huge difference (4/6/8 times) between the P100 and all the rest its really not worth accepting any other CPU. |

Interestingly when I was using Colab for mfaktc I'd get 2 GPUs per day for about 3 hours as well. Since I have switched to GPUOwl I get 2 GPUs per day for 5 or 6 hours. Maybe because Chris had set it up so that while the GPUs were running mfaktc the CPUs were running P-1 at the same time? |

I seem to have 2 Google Drives and I was looking at the wrong one. Sorry all and thanks all
That is a pitfall. Different drives are connected to different Gmail accounts. Glad you got it sorted out. |
How many concurrent notebooks?
How many concurrent notebooks can one run under a single google account, in the free tier? If it helps, I'm looking at CPU-only notebooks.
