So, more data...

I continue to get a GPU backend about once a day, lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours. Three other GPU72_TF'ers are also getting an instance every day or so, again lasting up to (but no more than) three hours.

Has anyone who used to run the GPU72_TF Notebook but haven't for a while tried recently? It appears there's a sliding quota going on.
I hadn't used colab (I do GPU only) for about two weeks. I tried it tonight and got a little less than three hours. I don't think it is worth bothering with anymore.

Thanks for running the experiment, Chuck. Very useful data.

And I agree with you... Expect for those who live on their workstations, it's not really worth the trouble anymore...

No backend GPU available for me :(

You got this much. More than I expected

Generating a data point right now. Have had a few nulls (failed attempts) last week. TPU's were available, but had nothing to use them for.

I hadn't heard the expression "Tragedy of the commons" before. It was an interesting read on Investopedia.

2020-01-28 15:10:24 colab/TeslaT4 (UTC) launch, and still running now (along with an associated mprime in background on the cpu);
My other session didn't get a gpu, but a free cpu for mprime is good

Just had a T4 which ran for an hour and one minute

After approximately 2 weeks without a GPU, I have finally gotten a P100 for GPU72. Let's hope it's a long session...

I got a P100 and a T4 this morning in just one try each, but had about a day of cpu-only before that.

At the moment I have 4 sessions running concurrently: 3 CPU only, running PPSE on PrimeGrid and the aforementioned GPU72 notebook on GPU (which has been running for almost 3 hours at the time of posting). I have been running Colab since September, when I started to develop some notebooks for Colab and to run/test chalsall's GPU72 script.
