And can we assume you were running mprime instead of GMP-ECM?

Chris recently received en email specifically mentioning mprime, so I'm thinking they are looking specifically for that executable. I have been running GMP-ECM (only 2 or 3 instances at a time, on CPU's only) and haven't had a problem (yet).

When my account was suspended, I literally ran only mfaktc on it.

I did both. Today was CPU only -- 3 mprime jobs.

My kaggle account was also locked today -- was running both mfaktc and mprime, but based on the posts, I suspect mprime is the culprit, oh well!

Hmmm... This is disappointing.

I'm currently not having any such issues, although I am only running GPU compute on my Kaggle instances currently.

I would encourage people who have been blocked to protest through the "proper channels". It would be good to try to establish the reason(s) as to why they're blocking people, so we can stop doing whatever it is they're not liking (or, is generating automated "signals").

For the last couple of weeks I have been running 4 Colab instances (cpu, mprime) simultaneously, from the same laptop (4 IE tabs) and so far all is going well. Will keep my fingers crossed...

mprime might be an issue because they could look on it that you are trying to win a prize for the next prime.

Well, not with ECM, for sure... :smile:
That might be the reason why I am not having trouble.
