How I read ECM
 

I'm a school teacher in the UK and when we train to teach we learn of a government paper called [URL="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Every_Child_Matters"]Every Child Matters[/URL].


Despite knowing ECM stands for 'Elliptical Curve Method' whenever I see it in prime number/factoring contexts I see it was "Every Composite Matters". It's been well over a year now and I can't get this reading out of my mind... EVERY time!

On occasion, some of us read it as Electronic Counter Measures. I'll leave you to practice your amateur psychoanalysis on that statement.
