58 bit status

After doing some programming and data mining I've compiled the following list of numbers at 58bits:

It looks like we're on track to get everything to at least 59bits by New Year's 2005!

Sure, and 60 bit will follow soon!

Seems that some ranges need clean-up, I will take my 67 leftovers first.
BTW, Bayanne is not any longer working in the range 26.9-27M, see here http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=1552,
so everybody is welcome to bring this and the other 59 bit leftovers up to 60 bit (very soon) or much better, the whole (small) range to 62 bit (preferably by end of June)

I'm about three or four days away from having all of mine finished to 60 bits. I'll get it in ASAP after it finishes. That should take care of a lot of the 58 bit exponents.

I'll bring the stragglers up to 60 bits.

To clarify my last post, I'm now working on 26.9-27M except for 26919457 to 26919983 which S80780 is working on (he PMed me).

Just sent the results to George, all exponents up to 60 bits, 182 factors found.

I know my 58-bit exponents are complete, but I was just wondering how the rest of the 58-bit exponents are coming along?

PrimeCruncher 2004-05-04 18:46

The leftovers from the 26.9-27M range are about 31.3% done. Six factors found so far; 313 exponents down, 686 to go.

My range is running on a slower machine (not 24/7) but will finished certainly to 60 bit this year. The 60 bit milestone is not that far away and OTOH I think 62 bit preparation for Primenet is more important at the moment.

Would you like a hand, hbock? Right now, I'm just killing time on my TF machine while waiting for the next nofactor to come out.

Thanks, not for the 37M range but for a 26M sub-range I would appreciate this  (You have been asking for, just one week ago).
The next nofactor I don't expect before next week, still 5 or 6 days to wait. I you are waiting for 26.3-26.4M I suggest to start right now the range (like I do for 26.0.26.1M ), it's 60 bit ready up to 26,344,519, enough work for a week.
BTW, today I'll submit about 2600 37M exponents finished to 60 bit. :showoff:
