clLucas
I have reserved an LL exponent for manual testing by mistake. Then I wanted to compile clLucas to crunch that assignment, but to no avail as compilation fails.
Suggestions? |

Suggestions?
Run and report a PRP in gpuowl & then unreserve the LL assignment, just unreserve the LL assignment now, or let it expire eventually are possibilities, or run the accidental reservation on mprime on cpu(s) by just adding the assignment into the mprime worktodo file. clLucas is significantly enough slower than gpuOwL for primality testing the same exponent, plus gpuowl's PRP w/ GEC is so much more error resistant than clLucas with no Jacobi check, that I would use gpuOwL and not clLucas, for an AMD gpu. ClLucas seems to be no longer maintained. Last code change I could find was early 2016. It's been months since anyone posted at the cllucas thread https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=18297&page=40 (more than a year for anyone other than preda or me). |
Thank you.

You're welcome. For some speed comparisons among LL and PRP gpu codes, see https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=488476&postcount=8 and make adjustments for the differing gpus' speed ratings. |

Missing suggestion: buy a nvidia card and run cudaLucas... (etc) |

Is cudaLucas still affordable? I remember some constant return code of 0x00000000... |

CUDALucas 2.05.1 and earlier had that issue in some specific circumstances which are documented and avoidable. CUDALucas 2.06beta May 5 2017 version has checks on the fly for problem intermediate 64-bit residues.'0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0xfffffffffffffffd' (0, 2, -2). |

You're welcome. This sort of thing can be found in my reference threads at https://www.mersenneforum.org/forumdisplay.php?f=154, although I understand many are not aware of them, and many may not take the time to wade through the bug and wish lists, etc. |
I am having trouble getting all the things required for gpuOwl. Is it possible for someone to list everything I need to download? I am having trouble with everything there. Any help would be appreciated I have an AMD GPU.
