Thanks! This got me another 22M raw relations, for 626M total of the 631M I downloaded. I'm filtering now.

I ran the file through gzrecover. 126.4M relations were extracted. While doing so, I also removed 23.7M duplicates, so the gz file in the download directory has 102.7M unique relations.

gzrecover is very effective. It was able to produce over 126M lines from the file, of which about 35K were bad (which is within normal range these days). Still ended up with over 126M relations, and almost 104M unique. Linear algebra is running now.

Jon, o couldn’t find gzrecover for Windows and I tried another piece of software I found online which after 6 hours didn’t manage to recover the file. It’s yours.

I have also run into a corrupted dat.gz file for 40253_47m1. I have tried to repair it without success and do not have access to gzrecover. Would some kind person be willing to run gzrecover on that file and replace the corrupted dat.gz file on the NFS@Home server? Thanks in advance!

gzrecover manages to get about 114M relations out, 96.7M unique. Of course, I don't have the ability to replace the .dat.gz file on the server, so I'm not sure what you want to do here. I've run filtering already and linear algebra will take another 8 hours. Do you want me to just finish it, or shall we find a way for me to get you the relations file?
