Interglovent Stops

I am having a problem running Misfit on Windows 10. It will simply stop at different intervals. This could be caused by any number of things.

I am using GPU72WorkFetch to get assignments and it works quite well.

Question: Is there anything I could put in a Windows batch-file which would submit results back to the server?

Thank you!

One thing I've noticed is that you seem to have things configured to only get about 40 minutes of work at a time, and don't seem to have any buffer.

mfaktc will exit if its worktodo.txt file runs dry. It is best to have a day or two's worth of work queued up in case there's any sort of connectivity issue between your client(s) and the server(s).

I'll leave it to MISFIT users to speak to this.

It seems I went to extremes. Having days worth in the queue appeared a bit extreme, to me. This 1080 never drops below 1,100 GHz-d/day, and mostly runs faster. It tales 6.6 minutes to process one exponent, at the current level. The simple math says I could run 218 in 24 hours.

So, I will set it to 1,100 GHz-d/day and let it rum there a while.

Thank you for your reply!

I think this may be more inline with your suggestion(s).

I don't know how to interpret that. But based on the number of assignments you currently have, you've got about two days worth of work reserved. So, looking good! :tu:

I think you've got it. Of course, keep an eye on its behavior for a bit, just to make sure it is doing what you want.

Below is a new snip. I set it to fetch when the work load is below 3,000 GHz-d/day. It takes MIsift about a day to get itself stabilized.

For a terabyte-day/day card, those quantities look quite reasonable.

There is a menu option under "Operations" entitled "Check for Duplicates." I tried that and learned roughly one-third of what I had, at the moment, were duplicates. I somehow managed to pick through all of them.

Been there. The next menu item is "Balance work/Scrub duplicates." It should do that cleanup, in case any dupes got past you.

Just so you know, GPU72 will never assign duplicate work, *unless* someone "Unreserves" work.

I have noticed that you have unreserved many assignments while you "make friends" with GPU72, MISFIT and mfaktc. Please note that unreserving from GPU72 does not remove the worktodo entries under MISFIT.
