Can I skip the Self-Test?
 

I'm just rerunning the self test after every time I fiddle with the worktodo.ini, or one of the other files... It just gets annoying to waste an hour every time I find a new feature I want to play with...

You do not have to repeat the self test for the SAME FFT size unless you fiddle with the hardware - such as changing the FSB speed etc. In your local.ini lie some lines which look like this
SelfTest448Passed=1 If you put a line like this back in, the self test for that particular FFT won't happen again. Mid you this self test happens for each FFT separately - since your comp maybe fine for one FFT and not for another. So you should let it test atleast once for each FFT.
