Now that we are talking about, some of the P-1 factors on mersenne.ca show the username of the founder. Mine not (at last, since I started using gpuOwl). Anything to know about?

Yep, all in the last 3-4 months?
This is the last: https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/99353351 |

This is the last: https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/99353351
Well that factor was only discovered "today" (2020-07-18), so your factoring effort won't appear on mersenne.ca until about 0400h UTC the following day. Looking at some other recent P-1 factors from your list, they all seem to be credited to you (obviously, otherwise they wouldn't appear on the list ) 2020-07-15 https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/99351011 2020-07-03 https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/101908579 2020-07-02 https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/102925367 2020-07-02 https://www.mersenne.ca/exponent/99350561 |
Oh, thanks, I wasn't aware there is such a delay, I thought once you parsed the factor you also parsed the founder (they are in the same line of text). True that I didn't re-check mersenne.ca for factors found in the past, I only checked at the time I found them, and the "founder" was not there. We are good.

The nightly export from mersenne.org -> mersenne.ca happens around 0100h-0300h UTC daily at which point the details about who did what when gets imported.

Before anyone starts panicking, the PrimeNet export hit a snag today. I will import the data once it becomes available, but it won't be at its usual and customary time.

edit: data is now available, and particularly large: today 154k records, most days are closer to 30k. Import should be complete around 0600h UTC (around an hour from now). |
The issue that's cropped up the last few days is persisting, Aaron's working on it, I will process data when it's available.
edit: import in progress, should be done by 0400h UTC. |
