A couple requests about turning mersenneforum into Tinder
 

I noticed that I couldn't put "1428571428571428571428571" (a prime in the decimal expansion of 1/7) in the location field anymore. I had that location a few years ago (I never post my real location anywhere for security and privacy reasons), but I changed it to something else, and later on, when I wanted to put it back in there, I couldn't put more than "14285714285714285714". PLEASE tell me why you shortened it, and how to get the full number back in there! I want to have 1428571428571428571428571 as my location again!

And while you're at it, UNBAN RDS RIGHT NOW! I don't know what it would take to get you to do that, but I'm really getting upset over it, and I can't take it much longer. HOW in this entire universe do I get you to unban him? :explode: :explode: Find a world record prime?! I don't have enough free resources to do that. All my CPU time goes to factoring numbers and running Aliquiet, and my GPU doesn't support CUDA, so I can't do GPU LL. And I can't donate either (I'm on a tight budget already). I really need to know what it would take to get you to unban him, but I'm hoping it's something simple. I've never seen anyone treated like that ANYWHERE on the Internet, except for spammers and porn posters. Usually legit (human) people get more chances than that, especially on social network sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc., so I think it's EXTREMELY unfair that you perm'd him without allowing him to apologize. I've been waiting and waiting, with no sign of hope yet. JUST DO IT! What he did can be FORGIVEN! :unhappyme:

My guess to the location part is, maybe a server/site update did that. As to unbanning RDS, if you really want contact with him you could google his name or find his email. Defining this site as social media all depends on your definition of social media, and then how it's ruled may also depend on subtype.

I wasn't saying that this site was "Social Media". I was just saying that I had never seen any legit users treated like that before on any site. About the location, I want to put the full decimal expansion (1428571428571428571428571), not the shortened "(10^25-3)/7", so if you get a chance, please fix that problem.

if you could help me figure out a pattern or two, we could make finding multiple primes almost as easy as finding one.

oh and though it may be outdated soon you could get the older version of [URL="http://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=22204"]gpuOwl[/URL] and try that, it's OpenCL
