M3321928999 no factor from 2^68 to 2^70.

It is getting hot at home now, so my under-cooled pc is starting to fail under heavy load. I will be back in a month or two when autumn and lower temperatures are here.

Factor on!

Where do you live, thomasn? Perhaps you should get an A.C. installed or buy a fan! (Then you can crunch next summer and on too!)

Uncwilly 2004-08-06 02:03

I would suspect N.H.
(that's Northern Hemisphere, not New Hampster)

clowns789 2004-08-06 02:12

More than 50% live in the northern hemisphere. Just let him say where he lives!
I will send you the client as soon as possible :-)

Up to which bit are you going to check?

Luigi
Got the client..thanks...

I will check until 2^7x  , if no factor earlier

I hope you'll find a factor earlier, then!

I found my first factor

M3321929411 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929461 has a factor: 190321952205082414447 // factored up to 68 bits
M3321929519 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929563 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929573 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929579 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.

And I reserve
M3321929617
M3321929759
M3321929789
M3321929827 for factoring up to 68 bits.

Cheers,

Is there a Linux version of your program anywhere? I looked on the website and Google without luck.

If not will the source code compile on Linux?

Aitsen 2004-08-08 21:31

M3321929617 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929759 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929789 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.
M3321929827 no factor from 2^67 to 2^68.

I reserve
M3321928699
M3321929053
M3321929059
M3321929113
and factor these to 69 bits.

Andres
