Today is Remembrance Day here in the Netherlands, with 2 minutes silence at 8pm local time (11 November has no significance here as we were neutral in the First World War).

And tomorrow is Liberation Day!

I don't hold with all this star wars frivolity. Some things have to be taken seriously in life, and so whether it is the 5th of April or May the 4th, you should never forget that 5/4 is Dave Brubeck day.
