Robert, when you open next block of ranges can I suggest you start a new thread so it would be easier to track down reservations and progress. For each 500e15 tranche a new thread?!

Perhaps it would be a good idea to open only 5000-5500 in a first instance and once it is fully reserved and reaches a critical point, open the 5500-6000 Range. Along a different line of thought... Among the 64 possible 1476 ≥ Gaps ≥ 1346 available about 2/3 of those are C?C (first known occurrences) all of them already outside the range of search (4000-5000) The smallest place a C?C is found after 1346 is the one found by Bertil Nyman at 17000 e15 So there is a good chance that if a GAP >1346 and <1476 is found it will indeed be a NEW C?C . In other words a "RECORD". Obviously anything over 1476 would be a "Jumping Record". There are no CFC after 1476. |
Just think this thread is starting to be a completely mess therefore each tranche with its own thread and one dedicated to the clients with respective guide.
In the meantime I am full power here, in the middle of the next week I will have my operation expecting to be back on the evening of the same day, hope everything goes well. Carlos |

My current throughput on two PCs is 29.8e9 n/s.
Though they're not running on a constant basis. But what's strange is that my online PC is significantly faster (up to 1%) during web sessions. And to sum up all the expectations of finding a new CFC: there is on average one CFC every p/(c log p), where c is a Cramér-Shanks-Granville ratio parameter which currently can be thought of about 0.85 - or more like 0.9 if you're optimistic. (And should very slowly converge to 2e[SUP]-gamma[/SUP]=1.1229... according to theory) So after 4.7e18, we expect to find one new CFC every 4.7e18/(0.85*36.5) ~ 129e15 numbers. (Optimistic: 121e15; upper bound: 97e15) Also we can be quite confident to find a new jumping record soon, i.e. before 5.5e18. |
By the speed figures looks like we are processing at least 30e15 size per day.

All the gaps ≥1346 found up to now.
