What can I do to make the search go quicker?

Started LL-search on the number M332352707. Currently, it says the ETA is over 117 days. Anything I can do to make the search go faster?

Use the fastest RAM you can, use more RAM channels, add more CPU cores.

That's not an unreasonable time for such a large exponent.

If you want assignments that go fast, try double checks.

If you aren't familiar with customizing the hardware in your machine, then the simple answer is that you'll need a more powerful machine if you want the test to run faster.

Basically it means upgrading your hardware. If you bought a prebuilt system off the shelf, chances are it's not upgradable in a way that's useful for Prime95.

Make sure that you are using the best (latest) version of Prime95 for your machine. If you have a 64-bit operating system, use the 64-bit version of Prime95. Go to Control Panel -> System from the windows button. Image attached to show where to look.

In my case it's the processor (Haswell ain't what it used to be), everything else...
