What can I do to make the search go quicker?
Hi!
Started LL-search on the number M332352707. Currently, it says the ETA is over 117 days. Anything I can do to make the search go faster? Thanks. |
Use the fastest RAM you can, use more RAM channels, add more CPU cores.
That's not an unreasonable time for such a large exponent. If you want assignments that go fast, try double checks. |

If you aren't familiar with customizing the hardware in your machine, then the simple answer is that you'll need a more powerful machine if you want the test to run faster.

Basically it means upgrading your hardware. If you bought a prebuilt system off the shelf, chances are it's not upgradable in a way that's useful for Prime95. |

Make sure that you are using the best (latest) version of Prime95 for your machine. If you have a 64-bit operating system, use the 64-bit version of Prime95. Go to Control Panel -> System from the windows button. Image attached to show where to look.
