i am unreserving them |

Attached are the primes for k=8001-8111 (minus k=8085) from n=50000-300000.

10544249
k=10544249 done to 260K, one prime found at n=145672!! :big grin: My first prime!
Reserving the remainder of 105442H. I hope to test that to 100K. I hope you can figure that one out (the meaning of H) on your own. -Happy5214 |
Untested k's
1 Attachment(s)
Earlier, I said that I was going to test "105442H"? Well, that means all untested k's from 10544201-10544299. That has been tested to 30K. Attached are the Nash weights, results through 30K, and twins. Currently, this range is at 58200.
I have also tested untested 10xxx k's to 10000. The results are also attached. I am testing 10549 and 10967 to 372050. They are currently at 202K. -Happy5214 |
Well I talked to a few prime data people, none seemed to reserve k's for proth primes.
I am now in 100k-digit prime territory now though, it's only a matter of time  Total primes: 140; range tested so far: 0<n<331000. |
I've been testing 121212121212121*2^n-1, or as I refer to it 1(21){7}.
So far I've tested completely up to 304,000, plus 7 separate higher ranges, and found 20 primes. These are the n which produce primes:
19 57 157 439 499 681 909 1003 1203 4413 4447 5013 5337 5629 10755 14311 14401 82041 182059 296041
The last n there gives a prime 89,132 digits in length. I'm hoping that within a week or so I'll have a top 5000 prime. |
Woo! I got one that will made the list, 121212121212121 * 2^388747 - 1

Congrats on a nice prime! Keep on going if you can, to find the next prime, because this one will drop from the Top-5000 list in a few months.
You can also consider k=(21){7}, in your notation, which is much higher weight so you can expect more primes from a single sieve. k=(21){6} and {8} are aslo worth trying. |
{8} is over 2^52, so I figured that might present problems, and I think Justin is running {6}, and possibly also {2} - {5}.
I'm going to run this k all the way to 1.16 million, I estimate it will take another 55 days or so. |
Well, it's not a Riesel, but I finally got a 100,000+ digit prime
2979557295*2^340633+1 is prime! [102613 digits] (that makes primes 141 in the series; by my estimation, 150 will come by 402762) |
Well, congrats on your first 100k digit prime!
But if you mean 9 more primes by 402k, I cannot share your optimism. More likely by n=1M. |
