Welcome!
One of the best benefits of Dr. Cooper slowly doling out his list of already invented prime numbers is the influx of new [STRIKE]victims[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]addicts[/STRIKE] happy workers!!! |
Prime95 puts the files in the same directory as the executable. You can use a shortcut for your desktop, if you are launching it that way.
If you stop Prime95 and do the following, you can keep all your assignments: 1. Stop Prime95. 2. Put all the files start with M in the same directory as Prime95. 3. Rename one of the worktodo.txt files to worktodo.add 4. Put both worktodo.txt and worktodo.add in the same directory as Prime95 5. Start Prime95.
Uh.....those files start with "p" in my instance. I don't have any "m" files. |

Oh crap, you are right. I was thinking of mfaktc, not Prime95. |

That depends on the range and worktype, see here. You can have many different letters. There are some more accurate explanation on the forum how the file name is constructed exactly. The idea was to encode the 8-digit exponent and the work type in a 8-dot-3 pattern file name used for old systems (pre-long-file-names, like DOS, etc.). |
