I have had to adapt to this usage in my job, despite having grown up in a "Grammar Nazi" household. I still flinch when I use it, expecting to be called down for doing so. However, there seems to be no way around when one works in an LGBTQ social services organization.

I did uncover one odd quirk that may have tipped someone off if they were *really* diligent, which I'll bring up with George to make sure that's not the case next time, but otherwise, yeah, I think it's doing a good job of keeping it under wraps.
Single mom working from home discovered this one weird trick to discover the next BIG prime. GIMPSters hate her!

LOL. The websites I run for my real job are ad supported and we see those types of things *all the time*. Drives me nuts because they're so silly... it's kind of a running joke with our devs.

With that said, I do want to publicly congratulate Dubslow for being the first (and only, so far) person to figure out the new prime.

He used the method I figured might lead someone to it... the "one weird trick".

Something like he found out that the faked residue was the same this time as the last time? ... just joking of course ... Dubslow has always been very bright and persistant!

Hey don't say that. I was going to look at this one's fake residue to know for next time lol

I personally think it's M75899347. The exponent is reasonably close to Dubslow's predicted value and is somehow not available for double-checking despite being "unverified."

GPU Factoring: has it assigned

M75899347 is not available for DC since it is assigned for TF to "GPU Factoring".

Oh, dang. I forgot that assignments are now hidden by default. *facepalm*

Go ahead. Test it.

See what happens....

There's several ways of determining the exponent that
no one has mentioned: (1) drop it off the roof and time its
fall till it crashes (2) offer it to the owner if they'll tell you
the right value (3) start up my calculator at 61000001 and
wait a VERY long time....

Oh wait that was a barometer and a height... bad joke.

I'm on pins and needles... is the announcement expected today?
