When will M41 pop up?
 

Simple poll. When will M41 (or any other "new" prime) be reported to the Primenet server? Not, when will it be finished being verified?

When I joined, I was so sure a find was imminent...on my first poll, I guessed less than 3 months. The next time I guessed, I went for 6 months. Now I am comfortable with them being over a year apart. I will go with my 2 x 21 birthday:

I think that the next prime is over 3 years away and will be around (2^31,xxx,xxx)-1.

I think that there will be a 33M class by then. I also think that there will be a new one by the end of this year.

The 2 that voted by the 15th were not correct...
