I just looked up the Grothendieck prime and learned that it is also a Leyland number. Then I checked if the Physicist's prime is a Leyland number too but that is off by one. So close.
All energy transforms into heat eventually, regardless of the fact that it is passing through your processor or to your boiler. One kilowatt spent on your computer produces exactly the same amount of heat as one kilowatt spent on your boiler. And more prime factors...
Just playing with you here, because I'm in a good mood!

Technically, if the energy produces information (for example, a newly found Prime or a newly found Factor), not _all_ the energy is converted to heat; at least, not immediately.

Entropy and Enthalpy; the "Inseparable Sisters". Physics is fun!!!

I can't imagine how putting 1KW into the computer would produce less heat than putting 1KW into a wire... Therefore I assume that heating a resistor also produces information, but for some reason I believe that we are too stupid to interpret it.
Maybe at some quantum levels there inside of the nichrome, there are hundreds of mersenne primes found every second... hehehe... :paul:

So, I am talking alone here... I don't like to talk alone..
Buddy, why are you purple? What have you done?
Why did you upset the gods to be? And how? :surprised:
Hopefully you are not purple with anger because of me..
To the citizens of the United States of America, in light of your failure to elect a competent President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective today.

Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II resumes monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths and other territories. Except Utah, which she does not fancy.
