Hey, I found the largest prime!

(for the first time since it was added, and we swear that we didn't use refresh)

We are curious if anyone ever found the "2". We don't want to try refresh, that would be cheating. But we access the forum as often as possible

This just in case that "2" is really in, we have a vague, conspiracy idea, that the gerbils didn't start with those having so few digits... (we never saw a 4 or 5 digits, actually, maybe only those discovered by GIMPS were added?)
I don't know whether anyone noticed this, but I just realized that 74,207,281 is quite easy to remember: 74+207=281.

On a completely unrelated note, I ran at several high school tracks over the past two weeks or so. Some responses I got:

(from people of all age groups, including parents): "You're really fast. Do you run for the school team/What school do you go to?"
"Wow, you're quite fast. You could run for a top college in a few years if you keep training hard."
(from a ~14 year old girl, to another high school girl) "That guy looks kind of cute." "Uhhh...do you want to ask him out?" (to me, after a few minutes) "hey...ummmm...what grade are you in?"

I am 27.

I have 250 counties currently. There may be a few more from a childhood trip. I have all of one area, 2 remaining in one, 86% in another.
None of mine overlap with yours. Those who are interested can search the scoreboard for me (same username). 2017 I should double the number of counties and add several new states.

Hey, the point of maximum eclipse duration is nearly exactly halfway between me and Mike, to within ~10 miles. Now there's an idea!
Hey, the point of maximum eclipse duration is nearly exactly halfway between me and Mike, to within ~10 miles. Now there's an idea!
I would not be undisposed to meeting with forumites on my great adventure. Madpoo did a job not far from an area that I frequent, but the timing did not work out. This would not be the first time I have traveled to see an eclipse, but it would be the first total for me. I was not in a position in 1991 to visit the locations of totality (I did manage to sneak a personal day off work and get as close as I could, the next day {Friday} I came back and they told me that I would be working at a different location starting Monday.) Went to see an annular in 1994 (visited relatives and was ready to travel to other cities based upon the weather). Saw a sunrise partial in 1994, saw it rise across a large lake. Traveled with 3 family members to see a recent annular (visited Zion and Bryce at the time).

First one ever observed was from our front stoop. Projected it on to a card and traced it. Had dialed the time service on the telephone so that our times were accurate. Afterward the tracings were inked and the silhouettes were colored.
Also stayed up all night to watch this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_1982_lunar_eclipse

We knew he had other obligations and was unable to meet with us today, but since we were in the area, we dropped by to deliver some buttons.

Something I wrote elsewhere which did not belong there.

Utter irrelevance: Count <2[SUP]3[/SUP]×3[SUP]2[/SUP]×79 Posts>, as of now. However, the previous count of <11[SUP]2[/SUP]×47 Posts> had simplicity going for it. I was struck by the symmetry of 2[SUP]3[/SUP]×3[SUP]2[/SUP].
Grrr. The superscripts got lost on the first edit.
