May I receive a certificate of appreciation by Mersenne Prime Search?

I don't think GIMPS has such feature. Not a bad idea though.

I agree, though all that paper and ink would be costly. Maybe it would be better just to present them to long-term GIMPSers, i.e. those who have been doing it for over a year, or maybe have 25 CPU years of credit in LL or TF.

Actualy, it doesn't have to cost at all. Some projects have simple PDF file or something like that. So you print it on your printer. Some give certificates for participation and for certain milestones. And it could be special certificate for finding things we're looking for.

Good point. We could whip up something like that in Word. There was a free program out there that I found a while back that acts like a printer except it converts any file 'printed' to it into a PDF.
