Move 26
Ah, a more aggressive move than I thought they'd make. I figured they'd pull back the bishop to defend their king. I will take a good look at this move and post my thoughts.

At the moment, my favoured move is Bxd4. If Black takes back d4 then we can get the pawn on f5. If Black takes g4 we can take e5 which will leave Black's pawns in disarray

Bishop from g4 to h3.

I like Bxd4. I see two ways they may proceed. These lines are actually better than if they had played the more conservative 25. ... Bf6.
26. Bxd4 c4 27. Qe4 fxe4 28. Bxc8 Bxd4 29. b7 Bb6 30. Ra8 Bc7 31. Ra4 e3 26. Bxd4 Bxd4 27. Bxf5 Qf8 28. Bxh7+ Kg7 29. Bf5 Qf7 30. b7 Qh5 31. Qg3+ Kh6 Either way we have them on the run. |
David, do you also prefer Bxd4?

Bxd4 is fine. Not had as much Wi-Fi as expected this week sorry.

I have sent the sealed move to Serge Batalov
