Thanks for renaming it back. There was "agreed" that only topics in the lounge/fun/soapbox be exposed to title morphing, but some mods can't follow their own rules...
At least Xyzzy made me a mod in this section so I can change it back when he's done being goofy. |

Queued. Mark and Greg: your LGPU72 DCTF is temporarily going to 73; hope that's OK. If not, choose WMS instead. |

That's totally fine. I switched two GTX 580's to LGPU72 DCTF when Aaron posted that. I'm nearly done with the DCTF above 58M, so another 550 GHz-d/d will be back on GPU72 very soon. Speaking of which, it might be good to test GPU72 tracking DCTF above 58M. There won't be much, but a couple do trickle out every day. |
Turns out I grabbed all the SDC TF work. I should have it done in about 36 hours.

Just dropping in to comment; seriously busy at the moment. Yes, I have tested the GPU72 code to ensure it can handle DCTF in ranges above 60M. It works fine. But... We're not going to be facing the need to TF such a small number of candidates for another five years or so before the DC'ers are asking for them. Would probably only take a day or so from a "big gun". I would rather just let the systems finish off the optimal DCTF'ing below 60M (only six months from now (OMG!)) (RIP DCTF) so most of the TF'ing firepower can get back to the real work: LLTF'ing. |
I got a matching residue for M44486327
Since I decided to grab a recycled cat 1 LL (currently the #10 exponent), I'm holding off on taking any SDCs at the moment. |

Great.
"real work" :yucky:
Yes, real work. DCTF is pointless, LLTF is valuable. Please tell me how I am wrong. That is a sincere request. ;;;; To break the Fourth Wall, most of us around here don't have a clue what we're doing. So, we will sometimes speak to the audience... It sometimes works. It sometimes doesn't.... |
Please tell me how I am wrong.
You are not wrong. And we understand that you are stressed and pissed off when you are busy in RL. And you want to punch everybody in the nose. We feel the same in our RL, daily. But that "6 months" may be much shorter if you freaking stop assigning 47M and 48M to 73 bits  (as said in my - unreplied - post [STRIKE]above[/STRIKE] (sorry, is in the other thread, gpu72 stuff)) (btw, I will do them to 73, I found out that is a pain in the butt to go to them one by one and unreserve only the last bit, but I changed my work preferences now, for the part of the hardware that only did TF-ing always, and move other cards out of the GPU72, sorry) |
