Yeah, I did a spot check of another one but it matched, so maybe I just hit a few bad ones as a result of my triple-checking.

I may check it out again or just do another roundup of "maybe bad, but let's test one more and see" kind of work.
I hope to have my new rig up and running sometime late tomorrow afternoon. If so, I'll pluck one from the shorter list just above and give it a go. I would like to be able to do DC's in the 70 hour range with exponents of this magnitude.

nofaith628 2017-06-22 01:50

Finished 40 previously queued exponents in the 50M~55M region. Checking the results once every few days I estimated 40% are mismatches. Hoping Madpoo can pick those triple checks up.

Also queued up all available exponents under 70M.

That is a big list. Must've missed it in the previous posts. Wish there was an easier method for us users to obtain these double checks.

Queued these up and it should be busy for the next month or two. :tu:

Agreed. It would be so easy to add a database column to the exponents table to be manually marked by MadPoo. Then add a new work type for SDC. Restrict SDC work to Cat 0/1/2 DC elligible machines, and prevent SDC exponents from being returned as DC assignments (to stop unproven/slow machines from sitting on them). If there are no SDC exponents available for a machine, send DC work.
It would be so easy to add a database column to the exponents table to be manually marked by MadPoo.
It could also be a separate table "JOIN"'ed into the query. And MadPoo's heuristics could be codified.

I suggest worktype 42 not listed anywhere but in this thread

Can you elaborate on what "Cat 0/1/2" is?

Here's a list of exponents from two different CPUs that might be bad, might be good... they currently have bad > good but they also have a bunch of unknowns. These are the smallest exponents for each month of their history to try and get more data (one of them is the same I mentioned before... I think one more bad one came in since then, I forget).

Anyway, it's speculative... they may have had a few bad months, but only one way to know.
