Your 8.128 was the only one on this thread at the time I did the run
Happy test-sieving then! :-)

Test sieving complete; your 7.953e-15 is slightly better on yield and speed, so I'll be using that. Queued on NFS@home.

I'll throw 10000 curves @B1=3e8 onto C196_146_83.

I've revised my GNFS timing models using the polynomials found in the best msieve poly scores thread. Based on this, I find only four more xyyx composites that are likely GNFS candidates, all in the C202-C204 range. Beyond that, GNFS becomes truly impractical. The larger sized composites identified as possible GNFS in post 66 of this thread can be ignored.

The four (possible) GNFS composites are as follows
C202_147_116
C203_145_119
C203_146_107
C204_147_118
Presumably these must all be preprocessed with ECM to a full t60, plus partial t65.

swellman 2017-05-31 15:37

Two more possible GNFS candidates have appeared after a correction to my timing model. There would appear to be no more.
C203_147_104
C206_139_123
I'd like to chip in some work. I see that swellman is throwing curves at C196_146_83, but this isn't noted on the first post... is there other in-progress work that I should be aware of? I will aim for 35k @ 300M on C197_149_70 unless warned otherwise.

Yes, I'm running some ECM on C196_146_83. Should be done with my bite in 2-3 weeks.

To my knowledge, no one is working on C197_149_70. Good luck!
I'll throw 10000 curves @B1=3e8 onto C196_146_83.
Nearing completion of 10,000 curves with no factors so far.

Reserving the remaining 20,000 curves for C196_146_83.

bsquared 2017-10-01 20:37

I've finished 36864 curves with B1=260e6 and B2=26e9 on C197_149_70.

Thanks for the ECM work bsquared. Just a note that I’ve requested this composite be run over on the NFS@Home thread.
