Checking your "bad results" status is important
If you've made a change to your system and you're just continuing along with your double-checking and not paying attention, this could happen to you too:

Every result after that is bad. Technically there are 8 unverified results (7 are assigned already and I'm just about done checking one of those 8). I noticed all the existing bad results and then did some triple-checks on 14-15 of them over the past couple of days, and every single one of MrRoboto's results were bad. Anyway, this is a cautionary tale I suppose. All of the work this user has done for over a year has been a waste of time because of a bad system configuration of some kind. |

If I weren't such a hands-on computer enthusiast, the voltage fluctuations probably would have fried something. I finally realized that constant tweaking was not the answer, and swapped in another supply. Suddenly, everything was rock steady. The drawback was that the spare PSU did not have the juice for two GPUs. I now have a supply that has held up, so far. The upshot of the period when I did not connect the dots was a raft of mismatched DC's. Haven't seen one since I replaced the PSU. |

The sad thing is I'm not sure this user knows? I can't remember if the system is in place to email users when a result of theirs is discovered to be bad. If so, they've recently received a LOT of them in the past 24 hours. They also have another 3 current assignments. Even if their system was fixed they'd have to start those over to be sure they were okay. |
Not bad here.....
1,071 LL - First time (mostly unverified tests)
1,997 DC 3,068 total LL/DC tests. 8 of 8 DC Bad from 1 PC I retired 10 years ago 1 of 1 LL Suspect from same PC 3 of 547 DC Bad from one OC'd PC (2 in 2012---don't recall why, 1 recently when I had a RAM Stick failure) No other Bad or Suspect or with Error Code results |
If we have an e-mail address on file for him it might be worth sending him a note because I think the notification system is something you have to sign up for.
EDIT: Interesting that all the bad results are Manual Testing. |
