vnc connection and the infamous "d" key
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and tightvncserver.
Whenever I open a remote connection with remmina or SSL VNC, hitting the d key minimizes/resizes the windows on desktop instead of just printing the d on the terminal/editor. I know it's an infamous bug since version 10 of Ubuntu  I installed gnome-core, disabled all keyboard shortcuts from both keyboard settings/shortcuts and compiz, but with no luck. As I am using the box as a headless server, it's not a really annoying bug for me (I always have a "d" in my buffer), I just wanted to know if someone on this group had solved it. Luigi |
Open a text program and type "d" into it. After that, copy and paste it into your terminal. That should work until the bug's fixed.

That's exactly what I'm doing right now  |
