And this just in...
Yoyo@Home had been doing some preprocessing with ECM (B1=11e7) on three xyyx composites when they got prematurely kicked out of the queue. No factors were identified and yoyo's log files show the progress made:
(RESULTS: curves, timestamp_value) 9155 : 1459303941_C226_118_109 7610 : 1459362046_C204_119_99 9605 : 1459338946_C213_119_103 Lionel - do these have sufficient ECM to enter the 14e queue? If not, please let me know how many additional curves are required and I shall run them. Many thanks. Sean |
yoyo@home did not kick out them. That's just the bug of the status page. The work is going on actually. E.g., C204_119_99 is already beyond 8k curves.

Great news!

C165 from 12101^61-1 is, I believe, best done as GNFS. yoyo@home has completed ECM to 1/3 the GNFS size. It needs a polynomial
7045669^31-1 would otherwise be too small, but I believe the large coefficient imposes a sufficient penalty that this comes into the lower range of 14e. Yoyo@home has finished about t50. 13003^59-1 has had ECM beyond 2/9 the SNFS size because the coefficient is above 10^5. |
* I've just queued the 4 first XYYXF numbers posted by Sean in posts #460 and #462. I'll queue the HCN and OPN later.
* for C202_139_60, could you get more detailed information about the ECM runs ? With B1=1e9, GMP-ECM 7.0 states that t50 is expected in 667 curves and t55 in 2864 curves - but still, the SNFS difficulty of 247 would hint at t55... * for the three numbers in post #463, unless they received t50 before those curves at B1=11e7, let's have these numbers receive 11K or 12K @ B1=11e7, and call it a day ? |

Here is one that can be used. That was, however, long ago; unfortunately, now he seems unreachable by e-mail. In the case the queue is still hungry, there are 4 more SNFS tasks (relatively small): C179_140_37 C208_143_36 C186_145_34 C184_147_32 All with full t50. |

The 15e part of the grid was starving, so yesterday evening, I used an Aliquot C173 for Dmitry Domanov as a 31-bit LPs task. The 15e grid needs something more substantial soon, though
I'm chugging along on the queue of the 14e grid as well. |
The 4788 Aliquot C195 should be ready in two weeks? Maybe three? I don't have a good feel but I can't imagine it being more than a month from now. It's marginally smaller than the EMG C198 that stretched 15e to its absolute limit.
