Which siever do you intend for this job? I think it's meant to be 15e/31 but it's not clear to me.
Which siever do you intend for this job? I think it's meant to be 15e/31 but it's not clear to me.
Oh dang it! Sorry, I meant it to be 14e/31. The yield is a little low, but it would ultimately require about the same or more total special-q at 32 bits, and 31 should give us faster post-processing.

swellman 2018-10-17 11:30

No worries, just wasn’t sure your intent. The job has been submitted to the 14e queue.

Q-range of 20M-290M on the -r side should produce ~615M relations, enough for this 32/33LP job.
Q=20M 0.099 sec/rel, 4826 rels
Q=50M 0.122 sec/rel, 3247 rels

Q=260M 0.221 sec/rel, 1814 rels
Q=290M 0.214 sec/rel, 1666 rels
Q-ranges of 1k were tested.
I also tested rlim=200M, alim=268M. While yield improved by 5-8% throughout the range, sec/rel worsened in all cases and total sieve time is longer; since memory use is also worse, I stuck with the smaller lims.
