Oh, sorry. My job requires me to use carefully selected terms to refer to people. Perhaps the way one of my elementary school teachers pronounced the title would be more informative: "Miz-rez" (=Mrs.). ( Of course, the whole thing with female titles is intended to "divorce" them from their marital status, just as men are in their titles.) EDIT: But I was referring to "Pickles" not "Babs". |
