That would mean joining one of the teams. Each team discusses the move and votes in a private subforum for which you would need to be given the password. No voting or discussion in this public forum, just moves.

The team in which I play, Morphy's Maniacs, has one few players than the other team. I would like to confer with my team-mates, and in particular my team captain, about you possibly joining our team. Someone will get back to you about it soon.:smile:

I would say "no" to a totally newcomer (see my motivation when I was recruiting for my team, mainly breaks down to the fact that the guy can be one of the opponents, with a new account and a jumpy proxy. I suspected that since his first post, in fact, nobody else joined a factoring forum to ask about chess...)

And btw, if I couldn't keep my mouth closed, may I join the chibitzing forum? The game started to become interesting...

The supermods can check ip addresses.
Plus what would be the point. We are playing to enjoy ourselves not cheat.

Not really. They can check the ip address for a "honest" user. I was talking about (see my post) "jumpy stuff". I agree however that the effort would be useless, but we had "ramans" and other specimens here in the past.

However, back to chess, can I join the chibitz forum? (I am asking here first, but I will PM Xyzzy after, for the password, in case he doesn't read here and in case no one of the players has any objections).
