You know that the ERROR 3 problem is a database corruption issue with the v4 server? And you may also be aware that the v5 server is currently being tested.
Complete your exponent and email George. He will credit your account and add your result to the database. Your work is NOT wasted as some third tests are useful due to a number of reasons. |
ERROR 11 on a double-check
Is there any value in continuing on with exponent 18140587, a double-check?. RMCpc4 is due to complete this exponent on 9/12/07. If an exponent has already been successfully double-checked, is there really any value in doing a triple-check?
RMCpc4 had worked on this for 6 days before gettting the ERROR 11. |

In my opinion: yes. Occasional triplechecks test the integrity of the doublechecking system. |

RMCpc4 had worked on this for 6 days before gettting the ERROR 11.
There is no need to continue on this exponent. When there are two matching tests for an exponent reported by different users, there is no need to do a third test. George hasn't updated the status files yet, but I happen to have a copy of the cleared.txt from 2003 when the exponent was first run (as a first-time test). A comparison shows that the publicly available parts of the residues match. |
36069457 - ERROR 11
RMCpc1 has worked on this one about 22 days, and is now getting an ERROR 11. I looked at the double-check report, and it doesn't show up, so I assume that PRIMENET will accept it as a double-check for credit, correct?
