HELP! Come in for a whole bunch of TF, stay for a bunch of hooey!
My first thought is to contact George, but is there anything I can do, short of that? It's costing me about 1200 Ghz-days. :w00t:
I can prove to an authorized project representative that I was assigned the factors, and that the work has been done. This is what I get for submitting reports late at night. Does PrimeNet offer any way to do a persistent cookie, so that we don't have to keep logging in every time we submit a factoring report? (If not, then = Feature Request) Rodrigo |

Crikey, that's more credit than I've earned in my entire 7 years of taking part in GIMPS, and you were reporting that in one batch! Puts my paltry machine in perspective, doesn't it? Hope you get it sorted out. |

 Hope you get it sorted out.
Don't feel too bad: TF credit for GPUs is very high (IMO it is over-inflated; the figures were calibrated for a CPU and don't make sense where CPUs and GPUs both work). My GTX 560 does about 220 GHz-days/day, so it would only take 6 days to beat that. My modern CPU, for reference, can do something like 40-60 GHz-days/day, which would take a few weeks to match this submission's credit. |

 Hope you get it sorted out.
Thanks for the good wishes, I just sent the results file to George. GPUs really have revolutionized GIMPS work. It's amazing what a difference adding a video card or three will make to one's place in the Top Producers list! Rodrigo |

Do users believe that they will somehow magically buy (say) respect?
LOL! I'm not the right person to ask because I have absolutely no idea. But those questions interest me too. |
