Number of ECM curves when getting assignments
Every once in a while, I switch my computers to grab a few ECM assignments, before switching them back to their usual assignments (mostly DC).
The default number of curves are 3 (at least that is what I get). What must I do to have the default number of curves set at for example 10 when assignments are grabbed? What I currently do is edit the worktodo file. Adolf |

AFAIK, the default number of curves is different for different exponent sizes. E.g. I use to request very small exponents to test, and the number of curves defaults to 150. Give it a try (exponents under 1 M).

I also remember getting different defaults in the past (including 3 and 150) and what you say is reasonable. The time needed for a curve increases with the exponent. Doing lots of curves for higher expos is not timely-efficient.
