I had been patiently waiting a little over a year for a promotion. Just found out that I finally got it.

In 8 days I´ll visit the DESY (Deutsches Elektronen Synchrotron, Germany largest accelerator centre).
I won that exibition from an german science magazine. I´m very excited about that visit, I just can´t wait for that trip. So far I know we will visit the HERA Tunnel, which is build under Hamburg. I also hope to see a bit from XFEL, but dont think we will see it. Oh, the registration for the CERN photowalk is open since a few days. I should give it a try, somethink else and just weather pictures. Before registration I should start to upload my pictures somewhere. :/ (I took so much pictures the last 3 years, not even one picture got uploaded, yet.) |

Now in La Palma where we' ve been looking at a house with attached fruit orchard and two astronomical domes full of interesting kit. Quite likely we will buy it.
Down side is that, ATM, the air is full of dust from the Sahara. This happens 2-4 days per year on average. Just our luck that we pick the wrong days to visit. Couldn't even see the moon two nights ago ! |

Wow! I hope there's a good spot for your recovered bonsai tree, too. |

Negotiation strategy: Wow. Can't see the moon much. That was kinda what I was after.... |

This was just one of many shameful cases in which abused spouses are charged with their abusers' crimes. |
