Two great things happened on Saturday:
1. I got my first skilling pet in RuneScape. Those who play the game will know that skilling pets are an extremely rare drop. 2. My cousin Cathy got engaged! |
We just adopted a new cat, an eight year old Bengal named Dinky. He isn't quite that dinky though as he weighs in at 16 pounds. He has a large frame so he actually doesn't look that fat. He has beautiful coloring and has a very soft pelt. He is likely a second generation Bengal.
Unfortunately he peed on my bed yesterday likely due to the other cat in the house so he spent the last day in the bathroom. We might let him back into our bedroom tonight. He has met Hannah, but they need to be slowly introduced based upon their reaction. They didn't fit, but hissed and growled a little. Hannah spent part of the night outside of the bathroom. I think she is curious about him. I expect them to do well together once we get past the first few days. Our house is large so there is plenty of space for them to keep distance between each other. |

Day #47:
I'm chugging along at about 100 miles per week as I pick up the pace now that the weather has gotten better. Am at 25,065 today. If you keep going, you should whiz past me around October 25. Wave as you go by! Norm |
@Serge: I would also be very interested to read that, unfortunately linkedin is asking me for a password, which I can not provide (no account there, not intending to create one). Any alternative?

I am not sure what you mean. You do not have to be logged in to LinkedIn. I looked at this link from an empty browser - you get straight to the small punchline of the article and the link to the full article - http://time.com/4951200/genetic-testing-providing-hope-babies-ailments/ |
Well.. lord's ways are twisted...
The second link works (for the first I still see a blue page with no text, with linkedin login window on top, not closable). That is a very interesting activity you do there, and for sure, very useful! Congrats! |
