I have an old G5 Mac which I may switch on to provide a little extra warmth over the winter.

Is there anything meaningful in P95 I can run on it?

You cannot run Prime95 on PowerPC as it requires an Intel processor.

But, if you are interested in doing some prime hunting, you can use [URL="http://home.roadrunner.com/~mrodenkirch/home/Phrot.html"]phrot[/URL] which is supported by PRPNet. I found some Top 5000 prime with it, although they are probably no longer on the list since I haven't had a PowerPC machine for more than two years.
