3,766+ (GNFS 215.5)
We lost Syracuse University CPU power . How are we going with 3,766+ sieve? Do I need to call the SETI.USA cavalry? Greg, can you post an update on how many wu's are still left to be processed so I can orient the cavalry. Thank you in advance,

Carlos[/QUOTE] We are going to around q=2600M, so there are about 237k unreleased 16e and 350k unreleased 16e v5 WU's. |
Greg, new status please. Thank you.
Looks like Syracuse University is back, I'll see if I can bring up Mumps to the fight for the first place. |
It seems like that both the 16e and 16e V5 begin the sieve of 3,697+.
The 16e V5 sieved special q from 110M to 270M for 3,766+, time from 2013-09-10 to 2014-02-25, so it took about 6 month. The 16e also sieved some special q for G3p766, I did not track the process of it. |
Greg, please update us on the progress of 3,766+, is it already in post-processing stage? How long will the LA take (approximation)?
Thank you in advance, Carlos |
Filtering now. Likely factors in 2-3 weeks.

Sqrt phase never felt the need for a bit of a speedup, until now. ;-)
GNFS sqrts are particularly long-running (compared to SNFS projects). Anyway, a day more or a day less... Not a big deal. |

With 2 days per sqrt (...and you just might get a 1, an N, or the same p76 again), it is almost faster to crack the c141 de novo. ;-):coffee:
