Indeed, a copy-and-paste fault. Thanks Rich!
Nearly done.
The C195 from aliquot sequence 4788 is more or less ready for GNFS, and will need hefty amounts of poly select -- exactly how much I'm not sure, but everyone here having at it for a bit is almost certainly not enough anyways.

I will start at 10M but it may be a day before I can get to it.

RichD 2016-03-23 03:15

Didn't find anything close (i.e., in the expected range) from 10.0M-10.5M.

Jumping to 30M.

C195 @ i5246

Not really a good poly but one to set a baseline to beat.

I'll join in soon, and try to beat your baseline. Bit busy with Real Life at present.

VBCurtis 2016-03-30 04:43

Running from A1 = 500k up. I'll give it a week or more.

C195 @ i5246

I ran 30-34M and 38-39M with nothing better than what I posted.
I will be away for a couple weeks.
An update on my C156 factorization of Aliquot sequence 829332:3605 using a Core2 laptop. I chose the second poly that Curtis found in post #531, and am currently about half-done sieving.
Factorization complete: P65 * P92. Thanks, Curtis, for the poly!
Factorization complete: P65 * P92. Thanks, Curtis, for the poly!
you're welcome, Rich.

As for the C195 of current interest, I've run 7 days on the GPU with no poly better than 8.7e-15 yet, about 15% worse than the one posted on this thread. I've run A1 from 500k to 900k, testing various stage1 norms for a day each. I'll report my findings in detail when I stop the run after another week or so, somewhere around A1 = 3M.

I need a poly for C173 from aliquot sequence 933436. The best one I've found so far:
# norm 9.864941e-17 alpha -8.241116 e 2.511e-13 rroots 5
skew: 191202616.14

Y1: 525596800402713949
Is this poly good enough? I've spent ~60 thread-hours for poly select.
