A nice poly is requested.

I haven't done a poly search for the thread in a while. I'll start at coeff 17M.

I'll run it overnight with lower coefficients and see what shows up.

Best so far:

[CODE]
expecting poly E from 1.83e-012 to > 2.11e-012

I'll let it keep running through the day and see if anything better shows itself.

My best after 18hr is 1.67. I'll give it until Saturday afternoon.

Slightly better than my previous:

36hr total, ~400 stage 2 hits better than 6e+20. Best was 1.67.

I am on a short trip for next 2 days, so I will try no further for this candidate.

Wombatman- Can you give me a rough idea of how many hits at what bound you found? I'd like to get a feel for how slow my laptop GPU/CPU combo is for this work.

wombatman 2013-12-14 21:34

Curtis,

I divided the default stage 2 norm by 10 and set my min e-value to 1.7e-12. My minimum coefficient was 100,000. In the course of ~24 hours, I covered 100,000 to ~140,000 using 8 threads on my GPU, but I also was lazy and just used "-np" rather than "-np1 -nps" followed by "-npr" to maximize throughput.

Hope that helps.

Poly selection for 3,697+ is starting. Contributions are welcome!

Just to make sure I have the right number--this C221?

Likely yes. It's the right length and starts and ends with the right numbers. :-)
