Has anyone else noticed it gives an error when attempting to download primo input files en masse? You can download them one at a time from the number pages, accessible by getting the PRP list starting at say 301 digits, but it's not really practical.
I am not experiencing this problem at 2000+, but I see an extra line in the .in files (;short form...) that will cause me some minor issues with my automation. The short form also appears to be causing other troubles elsewhere when multiple # symbols are encountered. The 2531 and 2544 numbers mentioned earlier have this problem, but have not blocked my downloads.
As to your d/l, the listing of anything below 327 dd is also broken. See if you can d/l a group starting at 327 dd. I can d/l from 327 up without issue. |

Ed, are you working over 2k dd? I can help out in that region.

That help would be accepted gratefully, Pakaran. Many of my machines are currently working 2xxx, (if not all of the ones running PRPs). I'll let the ones currently running 2xxx finish, but I'l tell the assignment machine to only gather 3xxx. It might take overnight for everything to settle out. Tomorrow I should be clear of the 2xxx. If you need me to move back down later on some time, let me know. |

Just to be clear? |

Yes! Tomorrow morning, if I see any of my machines are still working under 3000 dd, I'll manually move them to >2999. I actually think there may only be two slow pokes that haven't moved to the new assignments and I think I'll retask them to composite work, anyway. Thanks! |
Not a problem; thanks for being flexible.
|
Glad to let you have some larger ones. I don't want to hog them too much.
I would like the effective lower edge of the bulk to be around 4k, but that might be too lofty a task to keep that whole region down to a few entries. Especially since I'm trying to help clear some of the smaller composites as well. All my machines are already clear of everything below 3k dd. So in case you catch this tonight, you're all set. |
I can't seem to get a certificate for PRP 1100000000976903844. I have tried the UGS=0 from much earlier in the thread and several other things. But, all I receive is:
Status=ABORTED DUE TO INTERNAL ERROR 4.21.7.2
Could someone else give it a shot? If no one can, I'll forward the error to Marcel Martin. Thanks! |

Don't expect results before tomorrow though How long does it take until the error occurs? Does it start to compute at all? |

How long does it take until the error occurs? Does it start to compute at all?
Thanks - no hurry! It actually runs all the way to test 131 during phase 2. I would have bundled up the tmp files, but they might contain the error causing data. I think the last try was about 20 minutes in on a 10+ year old dual-core AMD machine. I have tried it on several different architectured machines including i7 and core2 quad and all seem to error the same, but I didn't keep accurate notes. I can provide more details later today if you like. |
